592 Passed The DTI Philippine Real Estate Broker's Exam

According to the (BTRCP) Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection of the (DTI) Department of Trade and Industry, 592 out of 1,047 examinees successfully passed the Philippine Real Estate Brokers Examination administered simultaneously last May 27, 2007 in the National Capital Region and other cities like Baguio, Legazpi, Tarlac, Iloilo, Cebu, and Davao. This was a clear 56.42 % of all the Philippine real estate broker examiness which means that more and more real estate professionals are taking a plunge at the Philippine real estate industry high income producing sector.

The examination was said to have covered specific subjects regarding Licensing and Regulation, Ethics, Marketing, Forms, Documentation, Leasing and Registration, Sales, Leases and Mortgages, Property Ownership under the Family Code, Subdivision Development, Financing Appraisals, and Taxation. All these subjects were carefully distributed and utilized in the examination as part of the curricula that needs to be reviewed by the soon-to-be Philippine real estate brokers who took the exams. Upon passing the exams, Chairperson of the DTI, Director Victorio Mario A. Dimagiba, urged the passers to secure and pay a broker’s license from the authorized DTI offices while the oath taking will soon be announced by the BTRCP when final date is already planned.
