I read that there is a big effort by the local government of Panay on developing the island into an eco-tourism hub. I believe this will bring about so many changes for the island in the Philippines known to be the seafood capital of the country in terms of real estate. Panay real estate never had the inkling urgency to get developed because even if the island is very rich in natural lands from farm lands to resort property, the problem is that the Panay itself is not well known to be where the best beaches in the Philippines were found.
This means that the lack of promotion for the island which is composed of a group of islands really need promotion from both the local and the Philippine government. Upon reading in some other posts that Panay as a whole is being promoted to become an eco-tourism hub.
